Balder Mar is the largest continent on the planet of Aerithia. Aerithia is a parallel world to Earth, identical in shape and size, and resides in an alternate universe named, "the Boraillian Galaxy".
According to Earth, Aerithia is nonexistent. It is impossible to travel to and is inconceivable to the inexperienced human mind. Centuries ago, wizards, and mages alike, traveled to Earth through a portal in order to gather information to better the lives of the Aerithian people, and to find out how to help better sustain their planet's lifespan. The wizards collected human names, weapons, knowledge, and brought back with them some of those whom they befriended on their journies. The people who were taken were said to have been abducted and transported by unidentified objects, thus the rumors of alien abductions began.
In the beginning of our story...
Aerithia has been around approx. 5000 years, but no one knows for sure. The calendar started exactly 2999 years ago, and in exactly one month the clock will strike to begin the third Millennial Celebration.
